The Fraser River is a world class angler's destination. All five Pacific Salmon species spawn in the Fraser River and its tributaries.
Resident Rainbow Trout and Steelhead also swim its silty waters as well as Cutthroat Trout and Dolly Varden. The Fraser River has the largest population of wild White Sturgeon in the world and with catch and release regulations in effect they’re having good results in preserving these prehistoric monsters.
